Another Good Example Of A Beard

Case rests (for now) only to say, I have recently seen a photo of Jack Black with just a handle bar moustache, not a good look. This photo however is good, long hair and beard. just the vest that lets this one down.

Three Boats On The Shore

Another picture of the lakes, which I love. Derwent water I believe. There is something about this place that I so peaceful, It somehow gives rest to my spirit to be by the waters end. As you can see in the distance these three boats of just many of the boats that Joe Bloggs and friend are allowed to row out onto the lake in.

Beautiful

This photo was taken on a very cold day on Derwent Water. But I think it is beautiful. Not just because there is an expanse on water, but the colourful tree in the foreground is so close it looks black against the green of the hill in the background. I can almost hear the waves from the lake kissing the rocks at my feet. the gentle breeze pushing the clouds past.
I love the way the little bit of sun light catches the water as the trees root spread their fingers towards the waters edge on top of the earth.

Prunning The Trees

Well it's that time of the year again, so it's time to trim the trees back. here is one of the monsters in my garden. My partner got a little carried away and cut ten foot off it.

So you guessed it we have ended up with a home grown Christmas tree. ( After a lot of snipping here and there. )

It took us a few days to find a fairy for the top and to put on all the lights, But we got there in the end.

Nice one

I think that this is a great piece of action. and so true.

Memories

This Picture always reminds me of my childhood. As a young Dawmouse we always watch a programme on the Television about Dutch mice that would go 'flippy flop on the stair'.

Sam

This is Sam, our neighbours cat sitting on our decking at the feet of my partner. We don't know his real name, but he is the spitting image of my partners ( Sadly passed away ) cat Sam.

Funny Dog

My Uncle in Australia sent me this a few months ago of a kola bear taking a stroll through his garden. The only things that walk through my garden are Foxes, Squirrels and Moses and Sam our neighbours cats.

Lost ?

I found this little fellow the other week, while walking around Rufford Abbey. I think he may have got lost as it was midday and there were no other bats around, he is a little on the small side. He was just hanging rather low on an exterior wall.
